Comics Crash Course for Kids
Comics Crash Course for Kids is a free comics workshop for 3rd graders to young adults! Local comic book artist Rick Schlaack teaches students the various skills needed to create comics, including action sequences, panel layouts, and lettering. No sign-up or equipment necessary; just drop in! Classes are scheduled for the last Sunday of every month (unless holidays intervene), from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
Pokemon Tournament
Pokémasters assemble! It's an all-out brawl (respectfully, of course) as we host this monsterful card game of luck and strategy. Lead by the intrepid Dom Laurion, these tournaments aren't only fun and exciting, but teach young players the fundamentals of strategy, sportsmanship, and social interaction. Every Sunday from 12:30 to 3 pm at Everybody Reads! Join the fun!
